Introductory Post. What even is this blog?

Hello!

I've been an enjoyer of interactive 360 panoramas for many years, from QuickTime VR to Google Street View. Lately I've started learning how to use panorama-stitching software to create panoramas of video game environments, and I just want to post them somewhere! This is mostly for me, but if you've somehow stumbled onto this website and aren't someone I know in real life, welcome! I hope I've provided something interesting.

(Click Read More for interactive version) A hidden building in Damascus where Altaïr accepts his assassination missions. The first Assassin's Creed is almost perfect for panorama stitching, since it has a first-person mode and the ability to disable the HUD, but unfortunately Eagle Vision is always activated when in first-person at full health. The bureaus are some of the few places where Eagle Vision is disabled, so taking enough screenshots for a panorama is easy.
